Should have kept the old product

Comments about LD Refill Kit for HP 74XL Black Ink:

LD switched from a proven refill system to their own product. It is harder to use - screw plunger instead of syringe - and you get only 2 refill cartridges instead of 3 with the old system. Easier, less hassle and better to just buy a new cartridge instead of the refill kit.

Worked for a week or so on my HP Photosmart C4280

Comments about LD Refill Kit for HP 74XL Black Ink:

and then I got a message that the "print cartridge was missing or not detected". After finding a solution on google to fix this issue I was able to start printing again for a few days. Now the printout is unreadable. Cleaned the contacts on the cartridge and cycled the power on the printer but no change. Debating whether or not to buy manufacturer cartridge or just get a new printer at this point.
