We had previously been paying $200+ for brand name ink cartridges and I was hesitant to believe these cartridges could compare at the vastly cheaper price. We ordered the yellow & the black and received them very quickly in secure packaged. I have only had to install the yellow cartridge so far though. It has worked well with no difference in color however we do have to remove the cartridge regularly and shake it side to side to get it to continue to work. The error message that comes up is something about "remove tape from yellow cartridge" but I don't see any way to remove anything else and the tape did come up cleanly when it was first installed. However, this is a once, maybe twice a week occurrence and it takes about 30 seconds to do so I still believe this is an excellent value all things considered. I did just receive the cyan and magenta cartridges so I will review those and update this #if allowed# once I have 2-4 of these refurbished ones in the machine. I am somewhat worried that if all of them have the tape issue it will become unmanageable to have constant errors but we will see.
great product, works well, took about 5 days to recieve
We use LD all the time and have never been disappointed.
Good quality operates perfectly bought all three colors and have great quality prints
Each color shows problems with the chips, having to reseat them for the printer to work, often stoping after a few copies and showing the same error code, to reseat the cartrdige. Often it will do this with a full/new unit. We are in need of all four colors very soon, but I hesitate ordering them from you again! Any ideas?
Used the toner in a laser printer and the black looks great. Have used L. D. Products for some time with always good results.
I get way too many error messages when these 'compatible' cartridges are inserted into a Dell 3130 CN printer (remove tape from cartridge). This cartridges are just plain tough to load -- removing the paper/foam insert from the cartridge takes some serious pulling ang tugging; if you do not start from one end and do it incrementally, you will leave indeed have 'tape on the cartridge". I must admit that 4Inkjets does provide good support and will swap out a cartrdige readily if it does not perform under their warranty of usability. 4Inkjets states that this many instances of this error message is a programming element that the OEM purposefully puts into the connection between the cartridge and printer to move folks to using OEM cartridges at roughly 3X the price. Sorry, Unnamed OEM, but your performance does not justify tripling the cost of running the color printer. I also get a poor color response sometime during the life of a cartridge (about 1 in 6 cartridges) that can usually be recitified by removing the cartridge and then actively shaking the cartridge side to side (even after doing so when loading it originally). So while I would like to be more enthused about this product, I continue to get issues that I do not get with OEM cartridge. However the cost savings and the overall fair quality still make this a very viable cartridge choice. If the quality could be ratcheted up to good or very good, this would be an overwhelming endorsement.
above average performer at 1/3 of OEM prices. Very good to excellent value. Very good overall performance.
i will be buying all future refills from them. thanks!
Purchased this cartridge and placed it into my Dell 3130 laser printer. Instantly got an error message. Called Dell and they said it was because it was refurbished, that they often cause error messages. Ordered the OEM version overnight from Dell and printer worked perfectly. You get what you pay for. Returned the cartridge to 4inkjets but had to pay to ship it back to them even though they sent me something that did not work. Last time I buy from them.
