What ink does the Epson WF-3730 use?
The Epson WorkForce Pro WF-3730 uses Epson T702 / T702XL ink cartridges which come in 4 colors: black, cyan, magenta, and yellow. All four colors need to be installed to print.What's the difference between 702 and 702XL cartridges?
The Epson 702 is a standard size ink cartridge while the 702XL is a high yield cartridge which contains more ink and prints more pages. Both cartridge sizes will fit in the same slot. All colors come in high yield sizes.How many pages do WF-3730 cartridges print?
Standard Cartridge Page Yields: Each standard cartridge--regardless of color--prints about 300 pages. High Yield Cartridge Page Yields: A black high yield 702XL cartridge prints 1,100 pages. Each color high yield cartridge prints about 950 pages.How do you install ink cartridges in the Epson WF-3730 printer?
1. Remove the new ink cartridge out of the box and remove the packaging. It is encouraged that you do this over a trash can because some of the ink might leak from the cartridge. 2. Carefully pull off the yellow tab from the side of the cartridge. This will expose the vent hole of the cartridge. This is needed so the cartridge can function properly in your printer. Reminder: Avoid touching the gold contacts on your cartridge. Touching can result in error readings or communication in your printer. If you accidentally touch it, you can wipe off the contact points with a lint-free cloth. 3. Your printer will display a message when a cartridge is running empty. When you see this message and would like to continue replacing a cartridge, select “Next”. 4. Select “Yes, replace cartridge now”. 5. Select “Next”. 6. Lift the top of the printer to expose the cartridges. 7. The printhead will start moving. Wait for the cartridges to center. Gently take out the empty cartridge. 8. Slide the new cartridge into the empty slot. 9. Press down the cartridge until it clicks into place. 10. Select “Complete”. 11. Your printer will display a message that will confirm you have replaced cartridges. Select “OK”. You can now start printing!
